Spirit of Ripley Campground was originally established in 2017 by Dale and Kathy Fenrich, who built a welcoming retreat for campers to enjoy the beauty of Litchfield, Minnesota.

In October 2025, the campground entered a new chapter when we (David and Jessie Rose) purchased it, bringing fresh energy and a long‑term vision for growth.

As parents of three daughters, we see Spirit of Ripley as more than a business — it’s a family endeavor. We want our children to be part of the journey, to learn, contribute, build up the community, and enjoy the experience of creating something lasting together. Just as importantly, we hope Spirit of Ripley will serve as a bridge to the wider area, encouraging guests to explore local attractions, support nearby businesses, and connect with the people who make Litchfield special.
